Nadin and Sebastian are currently living in Denmark but decided to get married in the most beautiful city of Germany. Hamburg that is. They prepared in two different rooms of the stylish Hotel Gastwerk bevore heading to the close by city hall. It’s only a short taxi ride away but I almost got a heart attack on the back seat when we got stuck in traffic. With google maps and a lot of sweat I convinced the driver to take side roads and drive quickly so I made it just on time. Phew! I could hear the poor streesed out driver yelling “Please give me a good rating” when I jumped out of the car in the middle of the street. Right after the short ceremony we took a ride in that cool vintage car before arriving at the “Weinland Waterkant” where the happy couple enjoyed the afternoon with their guests.
Bevor heading to dinner we made a little tour through the old hood of the couple where they used to live for some time. I have to say I enjoy urban wedddings and urban wedding photos a lot. Please more of that.
The party took place in an old coffee roastery in the fascinating Hamburg Speicherstadt. The rustic ambience was perfect for the laid back style of the wedding. Like the rest of the day we had so much fun and I saw smiling faces everywhere. Even now that I am preparing this post I have a big fat grin in my face just thinking back to that day. Good times!
