Oh how I love Berlin! And urban weddings in Berlin like the one of Tina and Matthias at the restaurant ship Patio. The wedding day was as laid back as the couple. In the morning they prepared for the big day in together with friends in their beautiuful home in Berlin Steglitz. After slipping into that gorgeous wedding dress by Felicita we took a few shots on the rooftop before heading all the way to Kreuzberg for the ceremony.
As Mathias is a trompeter at the Berlin Orchestra his friends and colleagues made music throughout the ceremony. The sound in this stunning church was just breathtaking and I even saw a tear rolling down here and there.
After the ceremony the happy couple cut the awesome cake mady by Dilekerei and enjoyed the autumn sun in the backyard. We sneaked away for a couple of minutes to do a few portrait shots before the couple went on an intimate boat cruise on the river Spree.
While the sun was slowly setting over Berlin the couple arrived by boat at the wedding venue, which is also on the water. After lovely speeches from their dads everybody enjoyed the weather and some BBQ. As a suprise for his bride, Mathias performed live with his friends and played the trompet while telling a very cute story. It was just amazing and so much fun. The perfect start for a long night of partying.
